With unique patented technology, Citrus is the first residential and commercially viable door handle sanitizer. Citrus safely harnesses the power of UV light to  eliminate 99.9% of pathogens on door handles — helping to prevent the spread of germs.

Citrus disinfects doorknob/lever surfaces by emitting ultraviolet light at the “germicidal” wavelength of 270-285nm. This wavelength is within the ultraviolet-C band (UV-C) which has been scientifically proven to kill or inactivate microorganisms (viruses, bacteria, fungi, etc.) by destroying their nucleic acids and disrupting their DNA.

Tested and proven

Citrus was designed with the sole purpose of reducing the spread and transmission of
germs on doorknob surfaces therefore, giving our immune system more of a fighting chance. We accomplished this by weakening or killing viruses with our LED Germicidal UVC Lights.

Doorknob sanitizer results are based on independent and internal testing. Citrus was
extremely successful at killing the E. Coli virus within 15 seconds of exposure time and
successfully killing the S Aureus and P. Aeruginosa within 90 seconds.

99.9% of sanitizer results will vary depending on exposure time levels (15-90seconds), germ variations, and model used.

Citrus makes no claims as a cure to these viral illnesses.

Sanitizer results may vary based on new virus strains that may develop.
